Anthron Self-Braking Descender - Dual Panic Mode
Description: This descender works by varying the amount of friction between 3 bobbins. When the handle is pressed slightly inward the user begins hi/her descent. Press the handle inward too far and the user will stop his/her descent. Pull the handle backward and the user will also stop his/her descent. Thus, this device is considered to have two separate panic features that will stop a downward descent. The device must be used with static, low-stretch or dynamic kernmantle ropes with a diameter of 11 mm. The Double Stop can be installed mid line while remaining attached to the users harness. This device is suitable for short descents under 150 metres, and top down rescue scenarios. Please call or e-mail us for further info on this device.
